The MAP Trainer's Manual

This MAP Manual is a guide to help activists to:

• Decide whether to organize a MAP training workshop led by Bill Moyer or some other MAP trainer.
• Organize and lead a MAP workshop themselves for activists in their own area, organization or network.
• Use MAP to analyve, evaluate, and develop strategies and tactics for conducting their own campaigns andsocial movements.

MAP can be used for either one-time workshops or on-going strategy sessions as part of an organization's process of evaluation, analysis, and strategy. This manual is a workbook for applying MAP theories and methods that are described in detail in other MAP publications.
